We can take your recording and increase overall loudness to that of a commercial CD whilst maintaining the material's digital and musical integrity. We can then sequence tracks and deliver your recording in a variety of different formats.

We have is a very high technical knowledge of handling digital data and expertise in maximising loudness of recordings without generating nasty artifacts. This will give your recordings a professional sounding quality that comes close to or matches that of a commercial CD. The quality of the source material will decide the final outcome. Its not posssible to force a loud master if the mix is very unbalanced without sacrificing quality. We can discuss possible mix adjustments to enhance the mastering process prior to finalising.

Few people are aware of the artifacts generated from the many digital processes that can be applied to a digital recording. People seem to think that since moving on from analog recording, digital recordings are immune to degradation once the audio is recorded. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every bounce, every effect, every conversion can have an irreversible negative effect on the audio if quality software and careful selection is not used. When we Master your tracks we'll use the highest quality algorithms, software and selective processing for the best results.

The next step in the Mastering process will be to order your tracks as you would like them. While arranging track order we can add cross fades and pauses where desired. Any other pre-mastering/production information (metadata) can also be added to your disc or tracks.

Finally, a QC (Quality Control) check will be done on your tracks to make sure the process has indeed been beneficial and flattering to the original mix. The recording will be tested on a variety of reference systems to make sure that it sounds good in a variety of listening environments.

We can deliver your recording back to you in a variety of different ways including of course production ready CD-Audio. But also on CD/DVD-ROM or on our web server in any format you wish. Uncompressed, disk images, MP3, AAC... Or a multiple of formats! The choice is up to you.

Mastering costs just £15 per Track for 5 Tracks or Less or £12 per Track for More Than 5 Tracks. Plus £10 for media costs.
