Roadkill Records - THE LABEL, First Release 20.06.06

Our friends at Roadkill Records have been working hard for the last year to get a record label together... The fruit of that labour is almost upon us in the shape of their first release, Day For Airstrikes - Widows.

The record is available for pre-order on the Roadkill site now, and a launch party is planned for Sunday 18th June at The Tiger Lounge, Manchester. Keep an eye on the Roadkill site for more on that one..

Site Update - New Look!

There's been a bit of a Rockhard site clean up recently which was long overdue. Our gross misuse of space has been cured so hopefully it should now be easier to view content for most people. Pages should also be a bit more solid and load a millisecond or two quicker. ;)

There's also now a Sitemap page which is a new feature automatically generated for all our Band Hosting sites.

Other than that there's just been minor content changes. Enjoy.

If you've read up on our Band Hosting service and love the sound of easily accessing your site content when ever you like but already have your own design... Don't forget we can take most already built designs and incorporate our Content Management System into it!

That way you can keep the site you already love, and have content management features you wish you had via our Admin application. Of course we can still design you an amazing new site from scratch if you prefer...

Site Update - Live Recording, Equipment List

The Recording pages have been updated. The main addition is the Live Recording page which details our live recording service. We can record your live set with each channel isolated for later mixing in our mixing studio with amazing results!

To compliment that is an updated Equipment List detailing the recent additions to our recording equipment.

In case anybody out there was wondering just what the hell all this Band Hosting Admin lark is all about, I'm offering tours of our behind the scenes web application for managing sites - via MSN, Skype, telephone, or whatever other form of realtime communication you prefer. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, you can have a look and we can get your band/act on the web!

All you need to do is drop me an email to arrange it. I'll do the tour on a one-to-one basis and give you as much time as possible, as soon as possible.

Rockhard Admin 1.3, Live Recording and other stuff...

Well, we're just putting the finishing touches to our next BIG Band Hosting update, version 1.3! With Admin 1.3 users will be able to fully access almost every aspect of their site from any computer at any time!

The most major addition with this update will be full Media management for our Band Hosting users. Picture galleries and music/video downloads will be able to be added and managed from the comfort of your own computer! These new tools are such a big deal we'll be talking more about them over the next few days before we launch the update.

Also new this month will be a new service, Live Recording. A new state of the art laptop and other equipment expands our mobile recording rig into a fully capable 16 channel workstation. This will allow us to not only perform tracking on location via our Location Recording service, but also full Live tracking at a venue for later mixdown. This will provide a highly affordable solution for those who don't have the time or money to arrange and book studio sessions but want a recording of themselves in action. More on that soon...

On top of that, we'll be expanding our Equipment with a range of new mics amongst other things.
